I would like to thank you for providing me with a beautiful image of my baby at 37 weeks gestation. Within days of having these photos taken, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and had an awful fright when they told me the baby was at risk of not continuing to thrive. The beautiful experience I'd had at your salon reassured me that he was completely fine, because you'd given me the special privilege and reassurance of watching him move. This kept me sane through all the daily monitoring and tests they did over the next few weeks. I knew he would be perfect. And he was. Baby Nicholas was born on 22nd December and is a gorgeous blond curly headed boy.And he looked just like the images you'd provided to me.

Hi Susan,

I wanted to write to you and let you know how incredibly happy we were with the quality of the 4D images ultrasound and the images you took today. After the appointment we went home and compared the 4D ultrasound we had with our first child at the other place 2 years ago and the difference is phenomenal.

The quality of the images we received today were outstanding (even with the placenta covering some of the baby's face the images were still clearer than the ones taken at the other ultrasound place). I included an example of one for you to have a look at. We also looked through the DVD and again the difference was incredible!

We will definitely refer you to all of our friends.

This will be your pregnancies most memorable moment, a glimpse of your baby in the peace and comfort of the womb.We specialize in 4D ultrasound, 3D ultrasound, 3D/4D prenatal ultrasounds, and Elective Ultrasounds in Melbourne and Victoria.

4D baby is driven to provide outstanding customer service, we will never leave a client unhappy with the product, if for some reason (usually position of the baby) we are unable to provide an excellent experience we will invite the client back free of charge for a second scan, this sets us apart from our competitors which from client feedback do not offer this.
4D baby also scan for a minimum of 30 minutes and allocates 1 hour to all appointments (30 minute appointment time allocated for gender package only).

On completion of a scan the client receives a CD Rom with all Photo images taken during the scan this can range from 20 to 60 images depending on the babies position.
The client also receives a selection of prints in colour presented in our presentation kit.
If the client chooses our Gold package they also receive a DVD of the entire scan set to music of their choice or our selection if they prefer.
This is mailed out the following day as creating this takes too long for the client to wait.

What is 4D ultrasound?
This technology adds the fourth dimension of motion to the 3D image, resulting in real time movement.

Is 3D / 4D ultrasound scanning safe?
Extensive studies over the past 30 years have found that ultrasound has not shown any harmful effects to mother or baby. 3D / 4D ultrasound uses the exact same intensity as a normal 2D ultrasound. No ultrasound uses any type of radiation or harmful agents; the images are simply created with the use of sound waves.

Does this take the place of my Doctor’s ultrasound?
Please remember 4D Baby is completely elective, a non-diagnostic exam, and should in no way be used in place of your physician’s diagnostic exam. Mums to be must already be receiving treatment by a doctor and have already undergone at least one medical, diagnostic ultrasound ordered by their doctor to confirm their due date, screen for fetal anomalies, and to look for any other pregnancy related issues.

Will I always get a beautiful image of my baby?
Usually, but not always. Sometimes if the baby is persistently looking face down (towards your spine) it may be difficult to see your babies face. We make no promises that the images will be similar to those you might have seen elsewhere or even from our clinic, or that we can always meet everyone’s expectations. Every baby scans differently, depending on its gestations age, position, amount of fluid and mother’s conditions. We do promise to make every effort to obtain the best possible images of whatever parts of the baby that can be seen.

Are you able to tell the sex of the baby?
In most cases we can provide an indication of the sex of the baby. We can not however guarantee that the baby will cooperate during your session. Certain factors such as body tissue content, developmental stage and fetal position all affect the ability to determine sex.

When is the best time to receive my 4D ultrasound?
This depends on how you would like to see your baby! Prior to 24 weeks babies still have a lot of room to move around which makes for a very fun video, however their appearance is much more skeletal at this time. After 27 weeks baby is more developed making its features clearer. We have observed the best time between 28 and 34 weeks gestation: with 30 weeks being the most optimal.
